Masaru Inoue (井上傑 Inoue Masaru ) is a Japanese astronomer in Tokyo, Japan. He is a discoverer of several asteroids. He and Osamu Muramatsu are accredited with the 1988 discovery of asteroid 35062 Sakuranosyou, named after the elementary school his eldest son went to. He and Yoshio Kushida are accredited with the 1989 discovery of asteroid 26829 Sakaihoikuen, named after Sakai nursery school (hoikuen) which Inoue's son graduated from.
