Masakazu Kusakabe

Masakazu Kusakabe (日下部 正和 Kusakabe Masakazu?, born 1946 in Miharu, Fukushima) is a Japanese artist.[citation needed]

He has been awarded for his kiln constructions, Smokeless Wood fire Kilns, which he has constructed in America, Canada, Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey, England, China and Japan.[citation needed]

He wrote Japanese Wood-fired Ceramics together with Marc Lancet in 2005, a book about the construction of kilns and firing.[1]

He appeared at the International Woodfire Conference at Bröllin, Germany in September 2010.[2]
