He was appointed to the post in December 2008 [1] and took up office on 1 October 2009.
His preceding appointment was as General Manager responsible for product management, marketing and business development for the Worldwide Education Products Group at Microsoft. He has previously worked at Novell Inc., Sylvan Learning, Thomson Learning, and New Horizons Computer Learning Centres, Inc.[1]
He is married, with three daughters.[1]
