Marten Hoekstra Born May 21, 1961 Occupation Deputy CEO Global WM&BB and Head of Wealth Management Americas[1] and member of the Group Executive Board of UBS AG Marten Hoekstra (born May 21, 1961) is an American businessman and former Deputy CEO Global WM&BB and Head Wealth Management Americas at UBS AG from 2007 to 2009.[2]
Hoekstra became a member of the Group Executive Board in Feb 2008.[3]
He became Head of Wealth Management US in July 2005 and Head of Wealth Management Americas and Deputy Head of Global Wealth Management & Business Banking on 7 November 2007.
From 2001 to 2005, he took several management roles in Global Wealth Management & Business Banking, including Global Head of Market Strategy and Development In July 2002 became a member of the Group Managing Board.
From 1983 and 2000, he worked in various roles at PaineWebber, including Financial Advisor.
Hoekstra graduated from the University Of North Dakota in Political Science. He gained a Masters from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Business Administration.
