Licona was part of the Honduras national under-17 football team that participated on the FIFA U-17 World Cup in South Korea. He was also call for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt, however he was second goalkeeper and didn't play a game.[1]
Debut
Licona made his official debut in Liga Nacional on 17 April 2010 at Estadio Sergio Antonio Reyes against Deportes Savio.[2]
