Markus Karlsson is a retired Swedish football player who last played for IF Brommapojkarna in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

He was captain[1] of the very successful Djurgården squad that won back-to-back Swedish championships in 2002 and 2003,[2] including the league-cup double in 2002.[3]
