Mark Shulman was born April 2, 1962 in Rochester, New York. He is an American children's author[1] of over 100 books. He is the founder of Oomf, Inc.

His debut novel, Scrawl, edited by Neal Porter, is included in the list of Best Fiction for Young Adults by the American Library Association [2]
