Mark Redshaw (born 25 September 1984) is an English professional footballer who plays for Dutch Eerste Divisie club FC Oss, as a striker.

Career

Redshaw signed for Manchester United at the age of eight and spent all most 9 years at the club alongside schoolmate Phil Bardsley.[2] He also played for Wrexham and Manchester City,[3] moving from Wrexham to Manchester City for a reported fee of £200,000.[4] After leaving Manchester City he played non-League football with Radcliffe Borough and Rossendale United.[5] He moved to Caernarfon Town in December 2004.[6] Redshaw returned to Rossendale United in September 2007.[7] He has also played in Italy for Triestina, in the United States for the Los Angeles Galaxy, in Australia for Stirling Lions, in Cyprus for Ethnikos Achna, in Greece for Ethnikos Piraeus, in Spain for Real Murcia,[8] in Iceland for Fram Reykjavic, and in the Netherlands for FC Oss.[3][9][10]

Personal life

His father is Ray Redshaw,[5] and his brother is Jack.
