Mark Granier born in London, England, is an Irish poet and photographer based in Dublin, Ireland.

Biography
Mark Granier was born in London in 1957. He completed an MA in Poetry/Creative Writing with Lancaster University and has been teaching creative writing in UCD for several years.
He has published two collections with Salmon Poetry, Airborne (2001) and The Sky Road (2007). His awards include the New Writer Poetry Prize in 1997 and the Vincent Buckley Poetry Prize in 2004. He also received two Arts Council bursaries, in 2002 and 2008. His third collection, Fade Street, was published by Salt in 2010.
Mark Granier’s photography work includes portraits of some well-known writers and performers such as Allen Ginsberg and Jo Brand (the latter can be viewed on Wikipedia). Apart from furnishing the photography for his three poetry collections, he has done cover work for a number of publishers, including Faber, The O’Brien Press, Salmon, Poetry Ireland Review and The Stinging Fly.
