Mark D. Templeton (born 1974) is a composer, arranger and choral director from West Virginia, USA. He founded West Virginia's renowned professional all-male vocal ensemble "Cantabile". His compositions are published by Santa Barbara Music Publishing and have been performed at various Allstate choral festivals including Indiana, Georgia and Texas as well as at the national convention of the American Choral Directors Association in New York.
In addition, Templeton is involved in musicological research to topics like ancient music of Africa and the Middle East, and early European music (Josquin des Prez, Palestrina). Templeton is currently residing in Newark, Delaware.
