Marilyn Yaquinto

Marilyn Yaquinto is an assistant professor of communication at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. Dr. Yaquinto earned her BA in political science and communication and her MA in journalism with minors in political science and film studies at the University of Michigan, and she completed her PhD in American studies at Bowling Green State University. She received a Pulitzer Prize for her work on the Rodney King riots as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times. In 1998, her book Pump 'Em Full of Lead: A Look at Hollywood Gangsters was published.
