Maria Odeth Tavares

Maria Odeth Tavares (born 18 August 1976) is an Angolan female team handball goalkeeper. She is 5'7" and 165 lbs and plays for Clube Desportivo 1. Agosto.^[1]

2004 Olympics

Tavares wore the #1 jersey with Angola women's national handball team at the 2004 Summer Olympics. The team finished in last place in their group and did not win a medal.
