Marcos Jackson Caicedo Caicedo (born October 11, 1991) is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays as a Winger for Emelec in Serie A de Ecuador. He is very skilled young player with a lot of speed and dribbling and since he is a lefty he has been used all over the left side of the pitch as a winger, a left midfielder and a left back.

Club career

He came from Emelec's youth system and he is believed to be one of the most promising young players in Ecuador. He started playing as an under 18 player in the 2008 season for Emelec.

In 2009 he was involved in a polemic trade with Deportivo Quito. He was unsatisfied with his youth contract in Emelec and was signed for a free by Deportivo Quito, he even traveled to Quito and trained with Deportivo Quito for a couple of days until Emelec managed to show to the Federacion Ecuatoriana de Futbol that Caicedo was under contract with the club and had to go back to Guayaquil. Emelec revised Caicedo's contract and he is still a part of the squad.

Marcos currently plays for the Ecuadorian under 21 team.
