Marble Hill, County Donegal

Marble Hill is a village in County Donegal, Republic of Ireland. It is located northwest of Donegal on Sheephaven Bay, and is known for the popular Marble Hill Beach.[1]

On June 16, 1942, during World War II, an RAF Lockheed Hudson landed on Marble Hill Beach. It took off from the beach again the next day following refuelling.
