Manki, 'the land of peace', is a village under Honnavara Taluk, Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka state, India. It is situated on the coast of the Arabian Sea. It is the largest village in Karnataka in terms of area covered, with majority of Muslim domiciled.
When we go back to the history, this territory was under the ruling of tippu sultan. "Nawayathi" and "Kannada" are the most spoken languages and nawayaths are emerging force financially with huge income inflow from gulf countries.
This place is blessed with long sandy beaches and many other natural spots to enjoy the beauty of nature.
