Mandhara

Mandhara is a small village in Tehsil Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur District, Himachal Pradesh. There are about 30 families in this small village with approx 400 population. The nearby Villages are Birla, Baila, Kando Kansar, Dabriya etc. This village is around 35 km from Paonta Sahib, a place which is known for Sikh Gurudwaras.

There are many old people in this village. Gauri Datt Sharma is currently the oldest person. Other main people in this village are Naresh Sharma (teacher), Daya Nand Sharma, Om Prakash, Gopal Sharma, Jagdish Sharma, RR Sharma, LD Sharma, Krishan Datt Sharma, Brij Mohan Sharma, Ram Kumar Sharma, Chaman Sharma, Suresh Bhardwaj, Suresh Bhardwaj, Babu Ram and many others. There is a beautiful temple of Devi Bhadhrakshi. The most important part of this village is the satellite towers for almost all mobile operators, which are installed in this village Mandhara.
