The Manager of Opposition Business in the House is the member of the Australian Official Opposition Shadow Minister responsible for negotiating with the Leader of the House regarding the proceedings House of Representatives, including the following:
- the order in which Government bills and other items of business are taken
- the time allotted for debate
- the timing of Opposition business
The current Manager of Opposition Business in the House is Christopher Pyne (Liberal), and his deputy is Luke Hartsuyker (National). An equivalent office, the Manager of Opposition Business in the Senate, exists in the upper house, currently held by Mitch Fifield.
