Malsawmfela (born 9 March 1993) is an Indian football player. He currently playes for Pailan Arrows in the I-League which is India's top-tier football league as a Forward.

Club career

Fela first joined Salgaocar S.C. in 2009-10 season after his impressive performances for the national youth team. He trained with the team and occasionally playing State League matches for the Goan side. He never made an I-League start for Salgaocar.

He was later picked by AIFF to play for Pailan Arrows in I-League. ^[1]

International career

Fela has represented India in almost all the categories. He's most remembered for his contribution while playing for India U-16. He was impressive in the friendly matches played against youth teams of Premier League while the youth team was touring England.^[2]

On February 23, 2011 Malsawmfela played his first game for the India-U-23 team against Myanmar and even scored his first goal for the Indian U-23 team in the same game.

In June 2011 Malsawmfela was selected by the India U-19 for the Weifang Cup 2011 in China at the end of July 2011.In November 2011 he is selected as the captain of India U-19 in 2012 AFC U-19 Championship qualification held in Iran.
