Acanthemblemaria stephensi, known commonly as the Malpelo barnacle blenny in the United Kingdom,[1] is a species of chaenopsid blenny in the genus Acanthemblemaria.[2] It is found in coral reefs around Malpelo Island, in the eastern Pacific ocean.[2] It was named by R.H. Rosenblatt and J.E. McCosker in 1988,[3] and can reach a maximum length of 5 centimetres.[2] Blennies in this species feed primarily off of zooplankton.[4]
