Malghani

The Malghani is a Rind Baloch tribe. Malghani are the son of Mir Notak Khan, who was the son of mir abdullah khan.who was the brother of Mir Rind.both were the son of Mir Jalal Khan. They are settled in Jaccobabad, Larkana, Dadoo(Sindh) and speak Sindhi. Those living in village sokar Dera Ghazi Khan speak the Siraiki language but most of those living in Balochistan speak the Balochi language. Sardar Aslam Malghani was a baloch nationalist leader, who fought against the British empire. The population of sokar is about 18000. The registered voters of Sokar are 6900. The chief of Malghani tribe is Sardar Muhammad Akram Khan Malghani. Almost all the people lie in Sokar are Malghani. 95% people of Sokar town are educated. All of the people are Muslims. 98% people of Malghani tribe are Sunni Muslim. The sub casts of Malghani tribe are Bambhani, Shamrani, Dadwani, Pheerani and Hasi Khail. 100% Hasi Khail are educated and Sunni Muslims.
