Malcolm Balen is the BBC's senior editorial adviser and author of the controversial Balen Report.[1] He has previously edited the 9 o'Clock News, Channel 4 News and been Head of News at LNN.
He took a first class degree in History at Peterhouse, Cambridge. He lives in London with his wife and two children.
