Malarvadi is a children's monthly in Malayalam language, published by the Islamic Service Trust (IST), Kerala. Started from Kochi in 1980 by Movement of Islam Trust, Kodungallur, the monthly used to has a commendable status among the children's magazines of Kerala in it's early days.[1]

Its early contributers included prominent personalities in Malayalam literature such as MT Vasudevan Nair, Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai, Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, N. P. Mohammed, C. Radhakrishnan and artists such as BM Gafoor, Yesudasan, Paul Kallanode and Venu. The magazine, which features stories, cartoons, and comics, emphasizes moral values and aims at enhancing knowledge through humor and hobbies. MT Vasudevan Nair's historical fiction Daya Enna Penkutti (Daya, the girl) was first appeared in Malarvadi[2]

The content includes stories and illustrated stories developed in-house like Poochappolice ("the cat-cop"), Pattalam Pylee, Kittanum Kuttappanum, etc,[3] drawn by acclaimed comic artists such as Abdul Saleem.
