The Málaga-Almería road massacre was a massacre in the Spanish Civil War in February 8, 1937. After the arrival to Málaga of Nationalist troops, about one hundred thousand civilians fled to Almería[1] across the Málaga-Almería road. The civilans were shelled and bombed, and thousands perished.[2]
