Maksim Igorevich Shevchenko (Russian: Максим Игоревич Шевченко; born 27 March 1980) is a Kazakhstani professional footballer. He also holds Russian citizenship. As of 2009, he plays for FC Kairat. He made his professional debut in the Russian Premier League in 1997 for FC KAMAZ-Chally Naberezhnye Chelny.[1] He played 2 games in the UEFA Cup 2001–02 for FC Chernomorets Novorossiysk.
