Bill Szymczyk (pronounced [IPA|ˈsɪmzɪk] ) (born
February 13 ,1943 inMuskegon ,Michigan ) became a musical producer and technical engineer of rock working with, among others, theEagles in the 1970s. He producedThe Who 's 1981 album "Face Dances ", which included the hit single "You Better You Bet ". He also producedB. B. King ,Dishwalla ,Joe Walsh ,Wishbone Ash ,Michael Stanley ,The J. Geils Band ,The James Gang ,Tom Kimmel , Ford Theatre and many others. In 2007 he produced and mixed a self-titled solo album from formerVerve Pipe lead SingerBrian Vander Ark which is slated for a January 2008 release, and starting in 2008 he will be producing the debut album from Eyes In The Attic. He now lives inLittle Switzerland, North Carolina with his wife Lisi Szymczyk and their two sons Michael and Daniel.References
