Early life

Mahaliel "Sensei Mo" Bethea, Sr. Sensei Mo Facebook Page , born February 10, 1959 is an American actor, playwright, screen writer, director and film producer. He first came on the Hollywood Scenes as a bodyguard for Wesley Snipes and later a stuntman for Jet Li. He has become well know for acting and directing independent martial arts films. His first film "The Empty Hands" The Empty Hands Webpage The Empty Hands Facebook Page featured boyhood idle, screen and music legend, Isaac Hayes. Sensei Mo says it was a dream come true. His new film "Love, Sex & Kung Fu is featuring martial arts stars such as Marco "DaAnswer" Johnson and Omar Holmes.

Career

Sensei Mo is a former World Champion, Hollywood bodyguard and stunt man. He is considered one of the foremost authorities on street self defense and holds an 8th Degree Black Belt in Vee Arnis Jitsu that he earned from the legendary Professor Vee himself. He has been the Chief Instructor and Founder of his own system since 1984 "Fight Back MMA" in Harlem, NY. In college, Paul Robeson was a big influence on him and made him want to be a 21st century renaissance man. At the age of 22, he started his own theatre company and wrote several successful off Broadway plays; Sun people Turn Ice, Malcolm's Time, We Must Eat, and The Black Root. In 2012, Sensei Mo plans to go back on stage with "Love, Sex & Kung Fu," and by 2013 he will team up with his old friend Wesley Snipes for Snipes' new film, "Master Daddy."
