Magomed Abdusalamov

Magomed Abdusalamov (born March 25, 1981) is a Russian heavyweight boxer best known to become Russian amateur champion 2005 and 2006 at super heavyweight.

Amateur

In spite of his success at the nationals 2005 and 2006 hard-punching southpaw Abdusalamov stood in the shadows of Islam Timurziev who was sent to international competitions. He did not qualify or the 2008 Olympics after losing to eventual Bronze medalist David Price (boxer).

Pro

He turned pro in 2008 and won his first four bouts for Warriors boxing.

He holds a current record of 10-0-0 (win, draws, losses) he has finished all his fights by KO.
