Mageean Cup

Mageean Cup

The Mageean Cup is the cup awarded to the winners of Ulster College's Senior Hurling Championship. Named in memory of The Rev Bishop Mageean it was donated to the Ulster Colleges in 1922 and has been awarded to the winners ever since. St Mary's CBGS Belfast are the cup specialists with 28 titles. The cup has spent most of its time in the Belfast school with only St Patricks Maghera challenging their dominance.[1]
