Jessica Anne Fishlock (born 14 January, 1987) is a Welsh female international football midfielder. She was born in Cardiff, Wales and represents English club Bristol Academy in the FA WSL.

Club career

Fishlock started her career playing for Cardiff City Ladies, becoming the club's record goalscorer and helping them to promotion to the Women's English Premier League. After a brief spell at Newport Strikers, she returned to Cardiff before making the short move to Bristol Academy in 2007.

In the 2008 close season, she was approached by Dutch Women's Champions AZ and joined them that September. Fishlock won Championship medals with AZ in 2009 and 2010.[3]

In January 2011 she returned to Bristol Academy to play in the FA WSL.[4]

International career

Fishlock has also become an International regular for Wales. After captaining the team at U–19 level, she was called up to the full squad and made her debut against Switzerland in 2006.[2]
