Career

Early in his career, Jesse held entry-level or assistant positions with companies such as Outlaw Productions, A Band Apart and Crave Films.

Jesse started Treasure Entertainment with partner Mark Heidelberger in 2000. He has produced a number of music videos for clients such as Sony BMG/Latino, Upstairs Records, Nashville-based Stringtown Records, Bad Boy Records, Atlantic Records, Sony-based Immortal Records, and Jerry Heller (former President of Eazy E’s Ruthless Records). He has also produced commercials for a diversity of companies such as Puma, Con Air, Lamborghini, Time Warner Cable and Cox Media.[3]

Jesse served as a co-producer on Harsh Times, the gritty urban drama written and directed by David Ayer that stars Christian Bale, Eva Longoria, Freddy Rodriguez, Terry Crews and JK Simmons. After a successful run at the 2005 Toronto Film Festival, the film was released theatrically by Bauer Martinez Entertainment/MGM and on home video by The Weinstein Company.

Jesse has been successful in the world of documentaries, having first produced award-winning NBA basketball docu-drama Flintown Kids, and then feature music documentary Who Stole The Soul?, which centers on the rise and fall of the R&B movement amid the proliferation of gangsta rap.[4]

In 2006, Jesse co-executive produced the family feature film You’ve Got A Friend for The Hallmark Channel, starring John Schneider, Dylan McLaughlin and Bitty Schram, which premiered on Hallmark in 2007.[5] Then, in 2008, Jesse produced the indie comedy feature Man Overboard, which premiered on HBO in Europe.[6]

Through Treasure Entertainment, where Jesse serves as Co-Chairman and President, he represents a large roster of directors who have shot videos for various artists such as Janelle Monae, Slum Village, Amanda Perez, Skee-Lo, Akwid, Snoop Dogg, Mýa, Lil Rob, TLC, Boyz II Men, and John Michael Montgomery.[7]

Jesse's most recent producing venture is the vampire-Western feature High Midnight, with Mary Lambert directing, and Billy Baldwin, Vincent D’Onofrio and Thomas Kretschmann starring.[8]
