Dvorak Ice Rise (71°21′S 72°46′W / 71.35°S 72.767°W) is an ice rise 1.5 nautical miles (2.8 km) in extent, rising above the ice of Mendelssohn Inlet in the southwest part of Alexander Island. First mapped from air photos taken by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE), 1947–48, by Searle of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) in 1960. Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) after Antonin Dvorak (1841–1904), Bohemian composer.
