Casey Gardner Jacobsen (born March 19, 1981 in Glendora, California) is an American professional basketball player for ALBA Berlin of the Bundesliga.

He has had an extensive European basketball career and previously played for the Brose Baskets, where he won the German Basketball Championship 2007 and received the Finals MVP Award. Before that Jacobsen was signed and subsequently waived by the Houston Rockets on October 27, 2006. Casey played at Glendora High School, and was a McDonald's All-American. After that, he attended Stanford University, where he scored a career high of 49 points against Arizona State University on January 31, 2002 and banked in a jumper with 3.6 seconds left against Duke University on December 21, 2000, keeping the Cardinal undefeated against the Blue Devils. A two-time All American, Casey was also a three-time all Pac 10 selection. In his three years on the Farm, he ended up #3 all time in points (1723), #6 in points per game (18.1), #2 in 3-point goals (222), and #4 in 3 point percentage (.427).

Professional

After his career at Stanford University, Jacobsen was the 22nd overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft, selected by the Phoenix Suns. He was later traded to the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for Jim Jackson. Jacobsen has averaged 5.9 points per game through his career and is known as a player with exceptional range on his shot, out to beyond the NBA three-point line. His usual positions are shooting guard and small forward.

After playing for the TAU Vitoria of the Spanish ACB during the 2005-06 season, he signed a non-guaranteed contract with Houston, played in just four pre-season games and then was released before the 2006-07 season began. Jacobsen then moved to the Brose Baskets (Bamberg, Germany) of the Basketball Bundesliga, where he won the German Basketball Championship 2007 and got the Finals MVP Award.

Jacobsen was signed by the Memphis Grizzlies on July 24, 2007.
