As the writing/directing team Dumb Bunny Productions, Jessica Burstein and Robbie Norris are award winning comedy writer/directors in film and television from Brooklyn, New York. Their short film Abbie Cancelled premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2009,[1] and screened all over the world in various festivals, earning critical praise, and the award for Best Short at the Big Apple Film Festival in New York.[citation needed]
Once fierce competitors MTV On-Air Promos in New York,[citation needed] they collaborated on the "Don't Cha" campaign, winning Promax Awards for Best of Cable and Champagne Spots on a Beer Budget.[citation needed] Soon afterwards they wrote and directed the music video "Corporate Lady" by the band Turbotronics,[citation needed] which won Best Music Video at the Backseat Film Festival in Philadelphia.[citation needed]
Burstein and Norris are developing the feature version of Abbie Cancelled, in partnership with William Morris Endeavor.[citation needed]
