Drive is a book by Daniel Pink. In it, he suggests that motivation with rewards or fear of punishment, dominated by extrinsic factors what he refers to as money is broken. The book claims that we have now moved into an era where motivation is inner thing, and that to work it needs to be actioned through autonomy, mastery and purpose.[1]
