Henry Wilcoxon plays Inspector Geoffrey James of Scotland Yard who travels to New York to investigate the activities of an international band of jewel thieves after the body of a diplomatic courier is found on the beach with smuggled jewels. James (Wilcoxon) is assisted by a the beautiful flight attendant, Anne Hogan (Brian).
