Dr. Anjani Kumar Sharma

Dr Anjani Kumar Sharma is Nepal's first surgeon. He was born on June 8 1933 in a small town called Bhalwai in the Terai region of Nepal. Having lost his mother at a very young age he was inspired to become a doctor. With the help of his father and uncle he achieved his dreams and became Nepal's first general surgeon and oncologist. Today Sharma helps out with the Lions Club. He continues to do his own research on cancer. He has been doing medicine practice for a long time and currently has his own hospital in Katmandu.
