Dr. Mark MayburyBorn Lowell, MA, United States Alma mater College of the Holy Cross, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Cambridge Occupation Computer Scientist Dr. Mark T. Maybury is Chief Scientist of the United States Air Force, Washington, D.C. He serves as chief scientific adviser to the Chief of Staff of the Air Force and Secretary of the U.S. Air Force, and provides assessments on a wide range of scientific and technical issues affecting the Air Force mission. A former Air Force officer, Dr. Maybury is currently on a leave of absence as an Executive Director at the MITRE Corporation. He is editor or co-author of 10 books and 60 refereed publications. He is an IEEE Fellow and has been awarded several U.S. patents.
