Dr. Johnathan Jagid MD FACS is an associate professor of clinical neurosurgery in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Miami. Dr. Jagid specializes in stereotactic surgery and movement disorders. He is the director of the Deep Brain Stimulation program at the University of Miami. Dr. Jagid, after completed his residency at the University of Miami, has since, published several journal articles and is a leader in surgical therapeutics for movement disorders such as essential tremor and Parkinson's disease.[1] Dr. Jagid also has clinical interests in hypothermia and trauma.
