Dr. Jagjit Kaur is Director Youth Welfare and head of Youth Welfare Department, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.[1] Youth Welfare Department organizes University Zonal, Inter-zonal Youth Festivals[2], Youth Leadership Training & Hiking, Trekking Camps[3], Inter-State Tours, coaching camps and prepare teams for participation in North Zone Inter-University & All Indian National Inter-University Youth Festivals and other Inter-University competitions organized by Punjab Government/D.P.I.(Colleges) Punjab and different states Universities.[4]

Career
Dr Jagjit Kaur served as lecturer in Punjabi at BBK DAV College, Amritsar and then as Principal of Guru Har Rai Sahib College, Chabbewal affiliated with Panjab University, Chandigarh.[5] As lecturer additionally appointed as an NCC Officer.Acted in television shows of Doordarshan kendar Jalandhar viz. bhaagan walie and talk shows like sanji satth and panj waje live. Also associated with Punjab Natshala, Amritsar. She is currently Director Youth Welfare, GNDU and elected Executive member Officers Association of GNDU.[6]

Member of College Handball Team and college cultural team in the events of Theatre,dance, music and literary categories.

2. Championship Trophy of North Zone Unifest 2011 held at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi[9]
3. Runners Up Trophy at National Unifest 2010 held at Maharishi Dayanand University,Rohtak from 2–6 February 2010
4. Championship Trophy of North Zone Unifest 2010 held at Maharishi Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra from 16–20 November 2009.[10]References
