Doyle Glacier

Doyle Glacier (66°0′S 65°18′W / 66°S 65.3°W / -66; -65.3) is a glacier flowing to the west coast of Graham Land on both sides of Prospect Point. Charted by the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE) under Rymill, 1934-37. Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1959 for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859–1930), the first Englishman to make a full day's journey on skis, in March 1893.
