Doss Glacier

Doss Glacier (82°30′S 162°21′E / 82.5°S 162.35°E / -82.5; 162.35) is a small glacier just east of Mount Boman, flowing into Nimrod Glacier from the north slopes of Queen Elizabeth Range. Mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from tellurometer surveys and Navy air photos, 1960-62. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Edgar L. Doss, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) glaciologist at Roosevelt Island, 1962-63.
