[1] This economic daily is one of the most circulated newspaper in Iran.[2] Donya-e-Eqtesad is considered to be an advocate of free markets and does not have any formal affiliation with the government of Iran. It is a mild critique of the government economics policies. Its main competitor is Sarmayeh newspaper.
