DonorsTrust is an independent charitable 501(c)(3) organization based in Alexandria, Virginia.[1] It was established in 1999 to provide philanthropic resources and liberty services. It relies on donors from charitable foundations and independent individuals and funds numerous projects, including the class action law firm Center for Class Action Fairness. As of 2011, the DonorsTrust has received $313 million from donors and granted over $263 million to nearly 1000 charities.[2]
