Sir Donnell Justin Patrick Deeny, QC, styled as The Hon Mr Justice Deeny is Chancery Judge in the High Court of Northern Ireland.

Background

Sir Donnell Deeny has been a High Court Judge since 2004 and was a barrister prior to that, being called to the bar in 1974 and taking silk in 1989. He has also served as High Sheriff of Belfast.[1][2]

Affiliations

He is a past Chairman of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and current President of the Ulster Architectural Heritage Service.[3] and serves on the Government's Spoliation Advisory Panel.

Education

Sir Donnell Deeny was educated at Clongowes Wood School, Trinity College, Dublin and Queen's University, Belfast.
