Dois I. Rosser Jr. is the chair emeritus and founder of International Cooperating Ministries (ICM).[1] Under Rosser's leadership, ICM has built or is building over 3,000 churches in 49 countries. Rosser is a longtime businessman in the Hampton Roads area and is chairman of the POMOCO Auto Group.[2][3] He has served on the board for the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization, Leighton Ford Ministries, Youth Focus, Prison Fellowship, and the Overseas Council for Theological Education and Missions. Rosser is also on the board of trustees of Hampton University and the United Way of the Virginia Peninsula.[4]
In 1986, Rosser was named "Unsung Virginian" in recognition of his business, civic, and religious accomplishments,[5][6] and in 2000, he received the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award.[7]
He currently lives with his wife Shirley in Hampton, Virginia.
