Docomomo US

Docomomo US is the working party of Docomomo International in the United States. The US working party represents a union of regional chapters that share its members’ knowledge of and enthusiasm for Modern Movement architecture, neighborhoods, landscapes, and urbanism in the United States and abroad. Docomomo US promotes public interest in this heritage through lectures and walking tours, in addition to organizing advocacy efforts to protect endangered buildings and sites.

Docomomo US was founded in the United States in 1995 and was incorporated with its present organizational structure in 1997. Its Board of Directors includes representatives of professional and academic communities from across the country.
