Summary
He would compete in 1502 laps, earn $7995 in winnings ($30,845.23 in today's money), and race for 2,693.3 miles (4,334.4 km). On average, Doc started in 31st and ended in 28th. He would never win a championship or a race but Doc would compete in ten events out of his entire four-year NASCAR Cup Series career. Later in his career, Doc would compete at the K&N Pro Series West where he would participate in the 1999 season at the ripe old age of 60.
Faustina also operated as a NASCAR owner from 1971 to 1976. He employed race car drivers like Richard Childress (who eventually went on to become the owner of Richard Childress Racing), Neil Castles, Jim Vandiver, James Hylton, Wendell Scott and Dave Marcis.
