The Divisiones Regionales de Fútbol in the Canary Islands, are organized by Federación Canaria de Fútbol :

Preferente de las Islas Canarias is the fifth level of competition of the Spanish Football League in that community.

The League

The league consists of 2 groups of 18, one In Las Palmas and one in Tenerife. At the end of the season, the champion of each group promoted directly to (Tercera División) (Group XII) and the runners-up playoff for promotion. Four clubs in the Las Palmas group and three in the tenerife group are relegated to Primera Categoría.

Primera Insular Aficionado Gran Canaria

Primera Insular Aficionado Gran Canaria is the 6th level of competition of the Spanish Football League in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands.

The League

The Primera Insular is played with 36 teams in two groups of 18. At the end of the season, the champions are promoted and the runners-up and 3rd placed teams advance to promotion playoff for two additional promotions. Four clubs from each group are relegated to Segunda Categoría Insular.

Primera Insular Aficionado Fuerteventura

Primera Insular Aficionado Fuerteventura is the 6th level of competition of the Spanish Football League in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands.

The League

The Primera Insular is played with 16 teams. At the end of the season, the champion advances to promotion playoff.

Primera Insular Aficionado Lanzarote

Primera Insular Aficionado Lanzarote is the 6th level of competition of the Spanish Football League in Lanzarote, Canary Islands.

The League

The Primera Insular is played with 10 teams with the champion advancing to the promotion playoff at the end of the season.

Primera Interinsular Tenerife

Primera Interinsular Tenerife is the 6th level of competition of the Spanish Football League in Tenerife, Canary Islands.

The League

The Primera Interinsular is played with 36 teams in two groups of 18. At the end of the season, the champions playoff for direct promtion. The loser enters the promtion playoff with the runers-up, 3rd and 4th placed teams for an addition promotion. Three clubs from each group are relegated to Segunda Categoría Insular.

Primera Insular La Palma

Primera Insular La Palma is the 6th level of competition of the Spanish Football League in La Palma, Canary Islands.

The League

The Primera Insular is played with 10 teams with the top four clubs advancing to promotion league. The winner is promoted.

Segunda Insular Aficionado Gran Canaria

Segunda Insular Aficionado Gran Canaria is the 7th level of competition of the Spanish Football League in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands.

The League

The Segunda Insular is played with 43 teams in 3 groups of 13-16. At the end of the season, the champions, runners-up, the 3rd placed team from group 1 and the best 3rd placed team between the other two groups are promoted.

Segunda Interinsular Tenerife

Segunda Interinsular Tenerife is the 7th level of competition of the Spanish Football League in Tenerife, Canary Islands.

The League

The Segunda Interinsular is played with 38 teams in one group of 20 and another group of 18. At the end of the season, the champions are promoted. Runners-up, 3rd, 4th and 5th placed teams enter promotion playoff for two additional promotions.

Segunda Insular-El Hierro

Segunda Insular-El Hierro is the 7th level of competition of the Spanish Football League in El Hierro, Canary Islands.

The League

The Segunda Insular is played with 7 teams with the champion being promoted at the end of the season.

Segunda Insular-La Gomera

The Segunda Insular-La Gomera is the 7th level of competition of the Spanish Football League in La Gomera, Canary Islands.

The League

The Segunda Insular is played with 11 teams. At the end of the season, the champion is promoted.
