R. Br.[1]Kalpasi (Didymocarpus Pedicellatus), common name black stone flower, is a rare flower in the family Gesneriaceae. It is often dried and used as an Indian spice in Chettinad.
Some of the other names for it include Shaileyam in Sanskrit / Gokshura, Jeevanti in Hindi, Kallupachi in Telugu and patthar ke phool in Hindi.[2]
