Diarmuid Mac an Adhastair, Irish actor, portrays the character Seamus Mhicil Tom on the Irish drama, Ros na Rún. He has appeared in every season since the pilot in 1992. His prior acting was in amateur drama, and has since acted in two short films and a documentary about his life. His pass times include fishing and wood carving. He lists Pól Ó Foighil and Johnny Chóil Mhaidhc as "People who have influenced me the most."
